Terms of Service

What Tairo is

Tairo is a local-first task manager with an AI ranking feature. Your task data lives in your browser; the app is provided as a web application (installable as a PWA).

Plans

  • Free: a limited number of tasks, no AI ranking. Permanently free.
  • Pro ($6/month or $60/year): AI ranking included. Recurring subscription billed by Stripe until you cancel.
  • Private ($69 one-time): a personal license for the full app with bring-your-own AI. No recurring fees. AI usage is billed by your own AI provider.

Cancellation and refunds

Pro subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from your Stripe billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Private purchases are refundable within 14 days of purchase — email [email protected] with your receipt. For EU customers, statutory consumer rights apply and are not limited by these terms.

Licenses

Licenses are personal and non-transferable. A lost license can be recovered with the email address on your Stripe receipt (Settings → Recover). Licenses are verified by signed token; sharing your license key grants that person access.

Your responsibility

Because your data lives in your browser, you are responsible for backing it up — use the export feature in Settings regularly. Clearing your browser data deletes your tasks and license from that browser; a license can be re-entered from your recovery email.

Acceptable use

Don't use Tairo for anything illegal, to store unlawful content, or to abuse the AI feature. We may refuse service for violations.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty. AI rankings are suggestions, not guarantees. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, data loss in your browser, or decisions made based on AI output. The AI ranking requires network access to an AI provider; it may be unavailable or change without notice.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and via the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
